Stronga have recently seen growing interest from the biochar sector in Australia and New Zealand in our class-leading FlowDrya technology which is extremely well-proven in drying biomass feedstock materials. Our local sales and technical teams are in the later stages of negotiations with a number of biochar start-ups. These discussions are around integrating FlowDrya systems into several upcoming biochar production projects in the region.

Joint System Turnkey Designs
Many of Stronga’s current AU-NZ projects involve working closely with pyrolysis reactor manufacturers and biochar start-ups to deliver joint system designs – combining drying, feeding, pyrolysis, and other related equipment. The goal of these collaborations is to develop successful biochar production solutions that can be easily adapted across different client feedstocks and scales in terms of output. This also sets a foundation for future projects, making our systems easier to roll out and customise based on individual biochar production targets.

Complete Package Offering for Biochar Production
As part of this initiative, Stronga are offering a broader and more complete package to biochar production businesses. This offering includes:
• FlowDrya – biochar feedstock drying systems >
• FlowFeeda – feed systems for biomass materials >
• Pyrolysis reactor units – Stronga works together with the client to recommend the optimum pyrolysis manufacturer and product, who we believe have the correct capabilities and solutions.
• Feedstock conveying systems – same as above.
The purpose behind these joint ventures is to reduce the number of suppliers and points of contact biochar production businesses deal with. By positioning Stronga (along with key partners) as primary suppliers, we can simplify the client’s procurement, investment decision, and commissioning process. It also allows for a centralised support structure - ensuring seamless support during commissioning and in the long-term lifetime of the equipment.

From a broader perspective, Stronga joining together with key players in the industry makes it easier for prospective clients to commit to projects, knowing they’re working with experienced providers who can deliver complete, integrated systems with full coordination covered as part of the sale.
An additional concept being explored is for the AU-NZ biochar sector to establish a demonstration/process plant. The purpose of this facility would be:
• To serve as a working example of the integrated system
• To host client visits and meetings
• To act as a training and onboarding site for operators
• To aid in marketing/sales by showcasing the solution in a live environment
This would be a strategic site where new customers could experience the technology first-hand, better understand system operation, and build confidence before committing to a purchase.

It’s Not Just the Tech
It’s not just the technology, but the ease, flexibility, and long-term support we’re helping to bring to the biochar market.
