Stronga are proud to present a successful on-time FlowDrya and Heatex Drying Solutions installation for Sinclair Agricultural & Recycling Services - a large scale family run business in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Stronga deliver high performance drying systems which match the clients’ wide range of materials and energy availability. Stronga FlowDrya and Heatex continue to offer excellent energy efficiency, long life reliability and exceptional drying versatility for clients throughout Europe.
Sinclair Agricultural & Recycling Services (SARS) is a successful family run business with over 30 years experience in the industry, specialising in all aspects of farm contract work and waste management.
SARS recently ventured into the renewable energy sector and now have a fully functioning Anaerobic Digester Plant on site. The installation of FlowDrya and Heatex Drying Solutions will help SARS gain RHI income while benefitting from the many uses of dry woodchip (biomass boiler fuel etc.).
Stronga Drying Solutions are specified, designed and configured for the unique demands of the client. That means Stronga only fit intelligent purpose-built drying systems correctly specified to thrive at the task in hand.
Throughout this project Stronga dealt directly with the client. Frequent site visits throughout the design phase helped to develop a deep understanding of the project to formulate a detailed and explicit specification.
Stronga were able to coordinate with the RHI consultant and pipe work designers by providing site layout drawings and technical data to ensure the project was professionally carried out. What ensued was an on-time, efficient and successful installation of FlowDrya and Heatex Drying Solutions onto the allocated concrete platform, as shown in the image below.
Stronga remain adaptable to the customers needs so we can build drying systems that suit requirements. The FlowDrya hopper can be end or side loaded, depending on the layout of the site. The SARS site is configured in such a way that there was a requirement to end load the huge 30m³ FlowDrya hopper.
With a standard capacity of 30m³, the FlowDrya hopper can now be extended to hold 45³, far more than similar machines in the market. That means re-loading times can be extended.
Stronga FlowDrya and Heatex are low energy, low temperature drying solutions designed for optimum energy efficiency in the form of lowest cost per tonne dried.
Stronga fitted the FlowDrya for Sinclair Agricultural & Recycling Services with optional roof and flue equipment to help the client manage evaporated moisture by channeling it directly into a higher air stream. The other added benefit of the roof and flue system for this client was to allow fully modular external use.
An optional onward discharge cross-feed trough auger automatically transfers dry woodchip from the end of the FlowDrya PulseWave bed to the clients’ pre-configured dry woodchip bunker. Dry discharge conveyors can be uniquely configured to suit unique site requirements.
Heavy fines that fall into the sub-floor air plenum during the woodchip drying process are automatically discharged via the raising auger into a Stronga tipping skip.
